We have removed the repair modifier from the Phantom Nighthawk.

Bug fixes & tuning

Corrected a visual issue where the Sealed Fire Charge special would not update the Cloak Time stat when equipped to a submarine.

Fixed an issue with the event popup where the selected prize might switch to the other prize in a tier without user input.

Expanded the Locator window to accommodate more buttons so that they don’t go past the borders of the window during the event.

Reduced Thermonuclear Launcher repair time from 1h 06m 40s to 10m 00s.

Fixed an issue where a submarine could not be launched if it had sustained a minimal amount of damage by lowering the requirement for subs to be launched from 100% to 99%. This is a temporary measure until this issue can be resolved.

September Event Briefing – Rise of the Warlords

Mission Overview

With the defeat of Borbas, the Reavers are without central leadership. Instead, roving bands of Reavers have loosely organized under the strong arm tactics of warlords. These warlords are vicious in their approach to reclaiming their place in the world, attacking with a newfound sense of urgency, leaving no one – Legion or Forsaken – standing in their way!

The Stormrunner Clan, lead by Ferox Hellborn, have invaded our territory and are looking to exact their revenge.

Rise of the Warlords begins September 15th in the following worlds at the following times:

World Alpha: 9AM PDT

World Beta: 10AM PDT

World Gamma: 11AM PDT

World Delta: 12PM PDT

World Epsilon: 1PM PDT

Relocation will be disabled Thursday morning. The friends list will be limited to 10 friends. Sector Threat, Base Parts, Gantry and Foundry targets will be disabled during the event.

Goals

Rise of the Warlords is the first event in a series of four events in what is a new Reavers Return event cycle.

This cycle features Reaver Holdouts that are similar in style to the Reaver Armada targets previously used in VXP Weekends and Previews.

Defeat Reaver Holdouts to earn points. Use event points to purchase prizes in a linear modal, similar to the prize modal from the last event cycle.

TARGETS

Event targets will use a new naming convention. Instead of A, B, C, and S-sets used in previous events, targets are classified by Tier (Tier 5; Tier 4; Tier 3; etc). Like the Reaver Armadas, these targets will be best encountered using submarines. Use the associated tiered tech to face the target.

Here are the new distinctions and their recommended tech:

Tier 6

Previously labeled “S” target AKA “Elite”.

Single target, level 100

Use Hellwraiths and top tier sub tech to face off against this difficult target.

THE TIER 6 IS A VERY HARD TARGET THAT MAY REQUIRE MULTIPLE FLEETS TO DEFEAT. THERE IS NO RETREAT BUTTON. This is not the typical target for a Hellwraith fleet. It will still be very challenging for them since it’s a target that is one tier power strength above the Hellwraith. This is the target you want to hit if you want a lot of points and don’t mind losing multiple fleets to do it.

Tier 5

Previously labeled “A set”

3 targets in set (71, 73, 75)

Use Hellwraiths or Tigersharks for best results.

This is the grind target. Not nearly as difficult as the Tier 6 target. This is the target you use if you don’t mind some seat time.

Tier 4

Previously labeled “B set”

4 targets in set (51, 53, 55, 57)

Tiger Sharks and Nighthawks should be viable in these targets.

Tier 3

Previously labeled “C set”

3 targets in set (31, 33, 35)

Should be viable for anyone with Spectres and Barracudas.

Targets are not cooperative.

Point Payouts Per Target

Each target is worth a maximum number of points, as noted below. Completing a set will award a completion bonuses:

Tier 3:

31 – 15,000

33 – 20,000

35 – 25,000

Tier bonus – 120,000

Tier 4:

51 – 30,000

53 – 43,000

55 – 60,000

57 – 75,000

Tier bonus – 600,000

Tier 5:

71 – 350,000

73 – 400,000

75 – 500,000

Tier bonus – 1,350,000

Tier 6:

100 – 1,250,000

Tier bonus – 2,450,000

You can track your completion progress in the Event modal.

Defeating a target will mark the completion in the modal.

Continuous target completions will count towards future set completions.

Once a set is complete, the modal will clear and reset with previously completed targets marked in the modal.

Hitting targets that are below your recommended level will result in fewer points.

Use the Locator to find targets of all Sets or specific Sets.

Uranium

Sector Threat will not be enabled during the event however you may earn Uranium by reaching certain points thresholds.

Points earned Payout
150,000 800
500,000 1,500
2,000,000 5,000
5,000,000 10,000
10,000,000 20,000

Zoe’s Man-O-War

A level 99 target that begins spawning on Saturday will also have a Uranium payout (~42k) upon completion. This target is not worth any event points but may be completed for a Uranium payout. This target will begin spawning on Saturday at noon and continue to regularly spawn hourly throughout the rest of the event. These targets will spawn near Nav Relay towers.
